ARE YOU BORED?
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FUN TO DO?
THEN WHY NOT TRY SOME OF THESE FUN IDEAS?
-
Start a rock
collection. See how many neat rocks you can find. Maybe you will find
some fossils. Paint some rocks and make a colorful arrangement with
them.
-
Find a field of clover
and make clover necklaces. This is especially fun to do when you are
with friends. See who can find a four leaf clover first!
-
Start a leaf
collection. See how many different leaves you can collect and identify.
Just be sure to stay away from the poison ivy!
-
Draw a hopscotch board
and practice your skills! This is fun and great exercise too. Just think
how good you will be at hopscotch when school starts.
-
Ask mom or dad to go
outside with you after dark to look at the stars. See if you can find
the big dipper and the little dipper. See how many other star patterns
you can find. If you are lucky, maybe you will see a shooting star or a
comet. You may even see lightening bugs to catch!
-
On a cloudy day, look
at the clouds and see what they remind you of. Do you see a puppy dog?
Maybe you will see an elephant. Since the clouds move all the time, it
is like watching a moving picture show.
-
Keep a diary of what
you do on your summer vacation. (When you start back to school, you can
remember all the fun you had so you can share it with your class.
-
Get mom or dad to go
on a walk with you. Maybe you want to pick up trash in your
neighborhood, or collect aluminum cans. Don't leave home without mom or
dad though. We want you to always be safe!
-
Surprise your mom or
dad with a homemade card telling them how much you love them. Making
cards is so much fun you may want to make cards for friends, family and
neighbors as well.
-
Write a story and make
it into a book complete with pictures. When you finish, share it with
your friends and family.
These are just a few ideas. You can
add ideas of your own. What is your favorite way to keep yourself
entertained? Below you will find a few more ideas for fun.
